Thin brick - Exterior application over concrete

Howdy....

OK .. OK ... I know this is a 'Tile' forum but I am doing some research and I am pretty stuck as to solving a problem on my exterior patio.
Thought that if anyone had some answers you guys would have it...

=The set up: Now that I have pretty much tiled over every surface on the inside and re-done bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, decks. My focus is to increase the curb appeal of my palace. I have a 10'x10' front patio (stoop) that is slab concrete. I have a concrete walkway that is either washing out underneath or frost heaving ( here in Central CT. )

I would like to get rid of the concrete walkway and replace it with brick pavers. Thats the easy part. I would also like to cover the front step with pavers but cant raise the floor so much that the door riser is in nowhere land. My solution - Thin brick pavers.

Does anyone know how to install these as it looks much like a tile installation. Any links would be helpful!

Does anyone know who makes thin brick pavers in the North East ( Central Connecticut) and who would be a decent retailer for pavers.

thanks again!

*BUMP*

Found out that thin brick veneer can use standard laytex modified thinset on application.. So it is more like than tile than I think.. Thats a good thing for me!
Only this is a exterior application... should I be using a uncoupling membrane? ( looks to be under a 6" concrete slab ) These are clay fired brick veneers and I am in Central CT...
And what should i use for a grout?

Hmmm... decisions ... decisions....

In the tile world what is usually recommended for exterior applications is an exterior rated porcelain tile because of its low water absorption rate. I don't know how the thin brick pavers you're thinking of would stack up against a piece of porcelain, and the manufacturer would be the one to ask. I wouldn't have high hopes.

I've been considering a small exterior project myself with a type of porcelain brick paver knockoff from Daltile from their Union Square line. They are exterior rated and at 3/8 in. thick, thinner than a paver. I would install it over a waterproof membrane from Noble Co. http://www.noblecompany.com/

Go to their website there's some good info there on their Nobledeck product and how to install it.
