Old Sealant -turned yellow???

Okay -we are sealing out tile and I pulled out a bottle of the sealeant we used in August 2004 - it was the custom lab stuff -grean bottle -about $90/gallon. Anyway, I poured it out of the original container and it was dark yellow -it looked like dog urine.
It has been kept under the kitchen sink and has been climate controlled.

I did a small test patch and it seemed OK, so then I did the entire follow, but when I sttod back it seemed to be so yellow that I panicked and wiped it up immediately. This am I tested it with a drop of water and it did not bead.

Would you use it?

NOT. This product is not the favorite here. Eat the leftover and start fresh. Now I'm worried about sealant you already used. If this product has caused a color than that's likely to remain. If you wish you can call that supplier for info on a product that will remove the old sealant. If it's yellow now don't seal any further.

I personally like the CBP stuff in the green bottle. If you didn't notice the water bead what has happened is that the stuff has gone bad. The yellow color? Another way to tell if you are getting any protection from it is to et the grout joint wet. Does it get darker? An indication of water being absorbed by the grout. If not then you did get some sealing action.
