Diamond core bit for porcelain w/ 5/8 female threads?

I'm looking for a granite-type core bit with 5/8 female threads for my polisher instead of a drill arbor, but one made to cut porcelain; or at least one that with softer-bonded diamonds that will work better with porcelain. I've been using my granite bits but they just chip too much on the hard porcelains. Thanks!

Contractors Direct lists a couple under Hole Saws & Core Bits, Tom.

Says Granite and Porcelain, but I dunno if they're different from what you've already got.

I want the same thing. Actually talked with Steve at tiletools.com about it today. Let me know what you find.

Tom, Have you looked in the cases at Master Wholesale? I've got a 1 3/8" and a 1 3/4" threaded which I got there just this past year.

Yeah they've got tons of threaded bits, but all for granite, none rated for porcelain. I double checked with Blake, he tried to sell me an adapter instead.
Which brand is yours?

I have Barwalt from CD. They will cut holes in porcelain or granite with no problems.

Tom, check with Andy at Felker...He sent me one a few years back that is just what the Doctor ordered.

Not sure if they still have this item or not but it is worth the email or phone call...Never know, might even get one in trade for a field report he he he
