If you're a pro, go to the pro area and introduce yourself. The moderators here tend to direct people looking to have work done there, and you could respond if it's in your area and are interested.

As Jim pointed out, we invite our visitors to post here in the Professionals' Hangout when they are seeking a paid contractor, but we have no place on the site for individual contractors to solicit work. I've moved your thread to the Hangout and perhaps another contractor in your area (although "North Carolina" is a bit broad) might know of a need somewhere.

If you have a website, you could put a link in your signature line, which might help.

I may be mistaken, but I think it's OK for a contractor to look for labor help on the forums. Also, if a contractor is slow, it's probably OK to see if anyone needs help.

But soliciting directly to the consumer would be what is frowned upon.

If I'm right, I think Chesterflick may be looking for help from other contractors. That's the way I read it anyway.
