Ditra Heat under carrera marble

One week after setting honed Carrera marble tiles over Ditra Heat, using Schluter All Set, I turned the heat on and this is the result… I’m assuming there’s still moisture left in the thinset that the heat is forcing up through the tiles... these lines where the heat cables are will disappear once fully cured, right?

Yes, it should dry. But don’t your directions say to wait 28 days of mortar curing time before turning on the heat?

Thanks for the reply!

From the Ditra Heat instructions:

“Allow the assembly to cure for 7 days after
grouting before putting the floor warming
into service.”

No wonder they used to require non-modified!
