Obie, cool tile. Did those have nubs to space them? Almost looks grouted in the pic.

No nubs Jon, we actually had to trim the excess bisque off the backs edges of each cross piece to get them to fit together close enough. I used Tec 3 in 1 thinset so I had time to adjust...also had to soak the tiles. Took some time but the end product was well worth it.

Obie- is that some more Moroccan tile? Not your everyday tile. Nice work!
And looking good Brian, Rod, Paul, Steve, John. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

The tiles had a very porous bisque to them, almost saltillo like. so as soon as they would hit the thinset you have about 30 seconds before they are set in place. soaking them allows you to adjust after you have stacked a good few.

The door is being made by a company called "Winston Shower Door" here in Winston-Salem. I meant to ask the homeowner what the cost was but forgot. I'm going back in a few weeks to tile around their Jacuzzi. Maybe the doors will have been installed by then. If so, I'll get a picture and find out the cost.

Rick & CJ, lookin good.
For heavy glass, we figure 50 - 75/sqft of glass installed. Lots of variables and options, but this is usually in the ballpark. Something like Ricks shower would be in the neighborhood of 1K. YMMV.
