Isaac has just about played out here. According to the weather persons on the tv the rain should be over shortly after 24 hours of steady and at times horizontal rain. With the ground so saturated a moderate wind can up root trees which we already have plenty of.

Mud, I hope y'all get some of this rain cause I know y'all need it but as slow as this thing is moving (about 7 mph right now), it may be sometime next month before you see any of it.

Rain!!

My bro lives on the Chesapeake close by me an'..... he measured 6" of rain in about 6 hours a few days ago.

It was wet for sure.... I an' hunny bunny were a-tryin' to drive to Annapolis in the deluge.

We needed the rain..... but damn.

Folks not far from where my bro lives were watchin' their yards and banks wash into the bay.

An' all this is pre Issac.

The forces of nature that occur when I am in the wilds with a backpack strapped on will undoubtedly pull the brunt of Isaac toward the Middle Tennessee area during midday tomorrow.

3" of rain today. Flooding in washes, city streets and some schools evacuated because of the water. We saw cloud to ground lightning....pretty breathtaking!
