Wow Petr! really nice work. Some awesome looking stone too
Heres a travertine/river rock traditional mud shower im working on. Custom bull nosing, also a glass channel. Used laticrete 253 for the travertine and tec 3in1 for the pebbles...worked great no nailing necessary. The HO bought a "Quick Shelf" pre-fab niche so im giving it a try, was a breeze to install.

Our current project...

The floor system is by Tate. Laticrete wrote us a spec using a urethane adhesive, CBU, self-tapping screws, Hydroban, and 255. The finishes will be tile and stone, above is one of the rooms.

Brad- Mastic???? Oh, it's urethane....
Suspended computer floors- WOW! Always figured that would be a no-no for tile, amazing!
Obie- mud-i-licious! Interesting niche.

The new rental was gutted to the studs, the bathroom moved 3 feet and widened, all new electric, & plumbing, & HVAC, & cabinets, & granite counters. The bamboo flooring holds up well. The Kitchen is tiled in 12x24's. The bath is white 8x8's on the floor with 1x1 glass tiles. The vanity came off craigs list and included the glass vanity top and vessel sink. Its ready to be rented at $1000 a month. Working on this between my regular jobs only took 5 months.

Here is a new construction job we just finished up in Grand Junction, CO. Had 2 weeks to do a 3 week job. Finished yesterday, it closed today
The floor tile in the kitchen and both bathrooms was Marozzi Boardwalk 13x13. I really liked working with it. The showers were both Bedrosians Wish 12x12's. The Master had basic travertine chair and pencil rails. The pan and niche are 3x6 tumbled travertine, and the shower jamb is 3x6 tumbled travertine cut to 5 1/4" and hand tumbled. Basic travertine back splash in the kitchen, but it was a discontinued item and we didn't have enough to use the puzzle pieces so on the top 6" of the entire splash I had to set each piece individually. The travertine entry insert was supposed to be a wood/trav 4" checkerboard pattern, but we canceled that and just did a 3' x 4' insert. I love the "beer Stine" that ended up in the kitchen floor. The Dal Tile marble/glass inserts in the guest bath were about half the width of the tile so we set them on kerdi and grouted them, then installed them in single pieces the next day after the wall tile had dried. Both showers were Schluter Kerdi for the water proofing. The bathroom floors were Schluter Ditra, and the kitchen we had to use 1/4" CBU to match up to the hard wood.
