Total time from tar paper, lathe, scratch to final rub down was 9 hours. I spent a LONG time today rubbing it, I couldn't walk the hell away...

Yes, it will get a glass enclosure, and the bench is wood framing and 1 1/2" fat mud. I have time till the tile comes in, so it will be all liquid.
