Antique shower floor

Just ripped out a 1920s shower and found a very solid concrete-ish subfloor and a drain/flange I haven't seen before. All in just about perfect shape.

Has anyone seen this style drain? And would you Kerdi over it as is? I can rip it all out and start over, but I can't honestly find anything even remotely wrong with it. Just have to find a nice grate to fit.

And no, this isn't a slab. It's a second floor shower.

If you plan to go back with Kerdi then I would bust it all out and go back with a Kerdi drain as well. It's probably a good idea to replace the P-trap too. But, even if you wanted to go back with another mud bed type shower floor, I'd still replace the drain and P-trap.

Yep, a 100 year-old p-trap would make me wanna swap that out. It might be in great condition, but it would be an anomaly if it was.
