It got all the way up to 40 today. 33 right now. It's not unusual for it to get this cold but it IS unusual for it to stay this cold for this long.

Look for higher prices on domestic peaches and blueberries this year. I fear the crops have sustained some serious damage. I stocked up on 8 cartons of OJ for my beloved. I think the price of that is going to really jump in the next few weeks/months.

We've set a record with the long cold snap here. It's killed fish farms, halted what little construction there was,and maybe decimated the citrus and fruit crops...what's next?

Still in the low 20s every night here. Peaches may still be OK. Blueberries in trouble. Fish farms shot. If the ponds weren't deep enough the fish died.

I've never seen it this cold here. It's killed lizards, even the big exotic ones, and even the Anacondas in the Everglades.Hope the Skunkape survives.
