I use a tool bucket. I have a bucket bra strewn over it. Its all stretched out.
Ive been using this same pocketed setup for over 10 years no changes.
I had a helper buy one. Mine hangs to the floor, his about half way up the bucket. I really got a good laugh when he sat his tool bucket next to mine
and says "look,.. mine is just a training bra"

Yeah, I been using those bucket bras for many years. Never heard'em called that, though.
The Bucket Boss brand has lasted better than others. And no training bras, neither.

 Shes got some miles but im willin to wager i get another 10 good
years out of these old bags
After a wild week most of my tools are scatterd about the truck box.
good old sunday comes in handy for getting back in order for the next job.

Buckets are the way to go. Have one for the tools, one for sponges, and 2 for trowels and floats. Tried a tool bag once, and ended up not being able to get to anything without emptying the entire thing. Especially out of the pockets.

Yeah a lot of people don't like the tool bag. I like it though. I have a truck box on my truck and it is full of misc tools as well. I like the tool bags just have never bought one maybe soon. I was laughing at a friend of mine because his pro knees look like little babies compared to mine and my brothers (I am 6' and my brother is 6'4")

I do the same thing Levi. I have a bucket for my main/everyday tools,a bucket with mud-tools,a bucket with grout stuff,a bucket for stone stuff,and several small buckets for horseshoe spacers.
When I was union....it was about 50-50,as far as mechanics using buckets/bags. I was brought up on buckets,so I guess I'll stick with em lol.

About the only time I see a guy with bags anymore out here is when he's first turned out. It's so cute when an apprentice gets his wings. A sure sign that Spring is on it's way.
Everybody else uses buckets and the craggy vet'rans just take their tools in whatever container the helper brings them from the truck in. Helper cleans 'em and puts 'em away too. Only times I've had a helper like that, some sum'bitch comes along and steals 'im away from me.

Nothin like a gungho greenhorn ready to get some experience.
The guy is packing a truckload of brandnew tools and confidence god
himself couldnt steer off center. Tell ya what i love these new guys so long
as they have a genuine desire to learn.
