RV Summer Excursion of '08

Greetings all,

This Sunday, June 8, Patti and I will hitch up the fifth wheel and head west on the start of our summer trip, which will cover much of the Continental U.S. We would of course like to take all of you with us (wow, what a party that would be, huh?) but instead we'll keep you updated here as we move along. It's going to be a long summer. We won't be returning to Houston until the latter part of October.

First major stop is Phoenix, where we'll spend an evening with Marge and Wiley and then a few days with my best friend from way back who lives on the other side of the valley from Marge.

From there we'll be heading up into Utah. I want to show Patti Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon.

Thank, y'all.

Jerry, I'm thinking toward the end of the month, but it depends on what we find in Utah, Idaho and Southeastern Washington.

I told Marge I was going to hang a cardboard sign on the back of the RV: "Not hungry, but will work for diesel." She told me I can't stop in her part of Arizona if I do that.

I dunno, Jeff. Y'all's gas prices were higher than here in Ruidoso, a known tourist trap. And if those land prices you were quoting me are accurate, peoples would hafta retar from Washington, DC, to afford to live there.

Is that really the kind of folks you wanna attract?

If you'd contract you a Kerdi shower right quick, I bet JB'd give you a lesson on the way through, though.
