Backsplash Tile Questions

Gentlemen,

I am tiling a kitchen back splash with 3x6 ceramic tiles and need some advice.

The wife wants a running bond pattern.

Should I start the tile in line with the side of the cabinet? See the attached image.

Would the pattern look best with right hand bull nose tiles installed vertically on that edge?

What would the Pros do?

Thanks,
ewstan

I would plumb down off the cabinet with the bullnose piece.
