Scratches from tile saw

I have completed the tile for our shower surround. We used glossy white Subway tiles. I cut some of the tiles face-down with the tile saw to make the edges sharper. In the process, the tile saw deck made these silver metallic scratches on the tile. I didn't think much of it at the time, thinking they would easily come off with an eraser or something, so I hung all the tiles.
A few days later, I went to clean the tiles and I can't get that metallic residue off. I tried an eraser and that didn't work. I went to the pool supply store and got this calcium deposit removal bar (some sort of abrasive bar) and it scratches the tile and doesn't get any of the metal off. Any suggestions out there? Thanks!

Jason,

Try a soft scrub type cleanser rubbed on moist but relatively dry, move up to regular cleanser like Ajax if that doesn't get it. Some guys here swear by "Barkeeps Friend".
