I'm always hanging around our booth somewhere. Please take time to introduce yourselves, I'd be happy to meet everyone. Since there will be 2 "Marks" at our booth, it's Mark Longfellow. If there is a JB forum "gathering", I'd like to go.

I'll have some toys for anyone that mentions JB forums at the booth.

Mark

I don't think that I can go this year but I would encourage one and all to attend and have a good time. There are also many very fine seminars that are offered every year. I think that I saw recently that our friend Dave G. will be doing one.

When I lived in Vegas it was fun to go to.
I think I burned out on the shows though.

I think I may try to attend coverings this year.

Url

I found this url. Looks like the right place.
http://www.surfacesexpo.com/default1.asp

Also from the website FAQ:

Is the show open to the public?

No, Surfaces is a trade event and only professionals from the industry will be allowed to attend.

I'll be there, moving about between booths of the manufacturers I represent, as well as taking in the rest of the show and hoping to run into some of you guys.

A couple of thoughts....

If you're even considering attending, register immediately. Registrations received after today (12/10/04) will not have their badges sent to them, you will have to pick them up at the show. Also, whoever you may take with you, spouse, helper, associate, register them as well. Gotta have a badge to get in.

I did better on hotel rates and airfares on my own rather than using the Surfaces travel agency. Staying in a hotel where the Surfaces Shuttle stops can save some money on cabs to and from the show. Getting a cab at the end of the day, or on Friday when the show closes can be quite a wait. Here's a good map of where all the hotels are in relation to each other, and to the Sands Expo Center where the show is held.

http://www.vegas.com/map.html

Bring your comfortable shoes and leave room in the suitcase to take home a lot of literature and information. And learn to eat 3.00 dollar hot dogs.

See you there!

I have a session on showers in the Installation Showcase on Saturday, 10-11 AM and a few others on a panel discussion. We are in booth 124, which is at the top of the stairs before you get to the main floor. Not sure if we will have the offical John Bridge sponsored couch, will we John? Maybe a chair or 2?
