Wall coverage was great but we were getting the hang of it and moving quickly. Not so well on the floor but we were slow bedding the floor with lots of discussion time. And i know the pics will post sideways..sorry bout that.

Also want to say thanks to everyone for putting on this event! Out of all the different seminars I've been to, this one has been the best. It was really nice to put faces to the names and I will also say that this definitely isn't just another group of forum members getting together, it's more like a family. Can't wait till the next time!

Here's a peek at some of our activities.

Noah made a good Vanna for Mick.

The voids under the big tiles are measured in square increments.

We stayed hydrated.

I echo all the thanks! I sure missed John, but enjoyed my time with all the friends new and old.

I needed a Castillo wake up call...that was a first.

It was fun...I had a good navigator and the sound of goats kept me awake.

Even though they have a strict "no photography" policy inside the plant, our tour guide allowed me to take a shot of the 24"x36" pieces they were manufacturing. One is before kiln and one after. That's a shrinkage rate of 9%!

"John" was with you in spirit. I'm glad all of you enjoyed the event and trust that everyone got something valuable out of it besides swag.

It was great to see everybody. Thank you Marge and Crossville for making it happen! It was a bummer that Joe, Jeff, Cain and John could not make it, but there is always next year

Crossville and MLT Training Event 2015

Mick, it was great to see and spend some time with you and Ernie. You two work hard...and smart. Thank you for setting the groundwork to get this started. I know everyone was extremely appreciative of the efforts you two put forward...the education during the sessions, the tips on using MLT, the hands on and the amazing MLT kits (and cool swag) you provided. Thank you!

P.S. You know, glitter might be a future consideration for the caps. 😉
