decorative pattern ideas

Hello all.

Still raking the boards for knowledge on my granite tile foyer project...

After receiving much guidance in prep for my job from this and other boards, I have now begun to think about the creative aspect of my job.

I have been looking at some of the designs on many of the finished produts on the board. I particulary like Bill's picture 2. I'm not sure if this is over my head or not, by would love to get a little direction...
I was wondering if any one had advice/info/links for these types of design ideas/patterns.

I will be ready to put down my granite in another week and was thinking of possibly a single design in the middle of the hall (for lack of better words).

Do I basically see what I can purchase in small quantities in the style tileI like ? I am using a wet saw to cut my tile. Is granite very difficult to shape?

...I don't want to get too fancy, but thought a little originality would be a nice touch.

Tips/thoughts?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike-- That pattern is easy to make. email me, and I'll send you my phone number, and I'll tell you how to do it if you're interested. It looks intricate, but it's really not.

Thanks Lon.

I am actually looking for a center design that would spread across a couple tiles in the middle of the floor.

I am torn however. I am debating as to whether the area is to small ( 4.6 feet by 11 feet) and I should just lay my tile and not try to force the issue.
