Yeah, yer right. That winter was the year I'd just constructed 24,000sf of brand new gutter-connected greenhouses. Ended up with 5ft of ice sitting in the gutters, spent the night knocking the ice off the plastic roofs. I don't know how those guys in Kalamazoo sleep at all, except they got free gas.

Just spoke to Todd on the phone. Problem was I couldn't hear a word he said.He was talking through a ski mask over a muffler. All this while sitting in his own kitchen.

Guess he couldn't get to the wood pile.

Gonna have Albert take a picture of me tomorrow in my short sleeves out in the sun just to cheer you Eskimos up.

Not sure why, though, gonna look jist like the water skiing picher. Same uniform, jist different boots, and no float-coat. Won't be as color coordinated, though. And it's s'pose be so warm manana I might needs pewt some clothes back on so's the picher be of no nekid person.

Had to haul out the long-sleeve flannel shirt. Sun's shining brightly, but it's just a tad cool in the mornings.

Don't look at the weather map this morning if you live in Northern Minnesota (or Northern Michigan).

Ditto John, a bit nippy this am (50 I think) so I put on my flannel shirt, but still wearin' my shorts. I'm the first one in 'em in the spring, last one out of 'em in the winter.

but I thought everyone lived up north 'cause they liked the peaceful solitude a 4 foot covering of snow offered...
