Barbs,

Hello, I noticed your reply and you mentioned So-Cal Mountains. I lived in Cal next to them mointins and even put out a fire or two in them mountains. I grew up in Baldwin Park and spent seven in West Covina. Where are you?

Hi Simple! Another So Cal Dude! They give me a hard time here when I mention "surf" and "ski" in the same sentence, but I'm sure you understand.

We're in Huntington Beach now, but spent many years in the foothills, around Pasadena/Azusa. I've been through a couple of those fires, as well as the L.A riots when everything around us seemed to be on fire. What made you leave Paradise?

(Not that Texas isn't paradise, John.....I'm sure it is....great place....just ask anybody. Really, I'm sure I'd love it!)

Bud, those weren't Sheep ribs, were they?

It's my uncle and he lives in the sticks...He never charges me too much so I do whatever I can to make it easier, I live in town he don't so that ussually the way it works out best is for me to bring the parts out...
He's a heck of a guy and my family likes to take advantage of him to get there cars fixed but I try to tip him extra and make things easier. Since we all know how the relative game works for us.

Wind chill of 35.

Man, I'm going to have move further south.

I hear Cuba needs help with the intracacies of setting tile. Maybe I could be an ambassador or something?

I like baseball. Fidel likes baseball.

I hear Argentina could be the place to go. They have all kinds of problems, maybe I could go down there and put my 2 cents worth in. Of course with there economy, I would probably have to put in $200.00.

Barbs,

Paradise is a subjective idea. There's a bit of it everywhere. You just have to look a little harder in some places.
