We are supposed to hit 88-91 here in Tampa today.

It's supposed to be 102 up in NJ with a heat index of 105!

I think we've had two 80 degree days so far, one was in May, I think, and the other was yesterday.

We're due for a mid-80's "scorcher" today.

well good old Isaac is heading more offshore for us.
still a Tropical Storm and hasn't increased to a Hurricane yet.
it probably will once up in the Gulf but we are only going to get
some average wind and rain on Monday.

looks like Miss, All and parts of the Panhandle need to watch now.
also a lot of rain from Tenn, KY, WV, VA, NJ, MD & DE the following weekend.

Here in Kansas we have been struggling with a persistent Drought for several months. We finally had a reprieve yesterday and got almost 3" of rain in a 24 hour period. Little late for the crops and lawns but at least it settled the dust and got a decent ground soaking.

I don't know who's in charge of this tropical storm/hurricane business, but I want y'all to keep that sucker over your way. I shouldn't even be here this time of year, but I am, and I don't need no steenkin rain storm.

Hurricane season ends in October.
but this one just went out more into the Gulf.

LA, MS & AL need to watch this and hope it doesnt get to big in the warm Gulf water!

We have had a terribly dry year here too. This weekend got a good rain, after nearly a month of no precipitation.

We're gonna be in the mid-nineties for at least a week -- along with humidity and a slight chance of rain. It'll be hot, but looks like the brunt will be in Louisiana. I don't envy the folks there, and I sure do hope their levees hold.

sorry to tell you that isnt a picture of Isaac or even a Hurricane.

its a photo for 4 years ago of a small shelf cloud storm front.

http://www.hoax-slayer.com/bogus-isaac-picture.shtml

Does a Circulating Photograph Show the Approach of Tropical Storm Isaac?

Outline
Widely circulated photograph that shows a large storm front rolling across
the ocean claims that the pictures depicts 2012's tropical storm Isaac.

Brief Analysis
The photograph does not show tropical storm Isaac. In fact, the same picture
has been circulated in a number of other contexts since at least 2008.
