Hi Guys

Great day in Chicago yesterday. Only 3 hours 10 minutes back to my office that's normally accomplished in 45 minutes on a good day.

BMW slid into shoulder. Two motorists got out an tried help get him back in the traffic lane. When I got up to him, I stopped in the fast lane and helped. He finally got into the fast lane, driving sideway. I had no other choice but to go around him and be on my way.

Average speed on the expressway. Besides 0 mph, an all time low!

Well, John, no need for you to hurry up with that laughing of yours since a lovely neighbor shoveled most of it and all I had was sweeping the snow off the front steps. Maybe next time you will luck out and be able to shovel me out to your heart's content.

John, that reminds me of Christmas 2000 when my daughter, our hound dog and I went to Wisconsin in our little Nissan Frontier. It started snowing just north of Indianapolis and was really coming down by the time we hit the toll way. Our max speed was about what you showed. We made it, but sure saw lots of vehicles spinning around wildly. That was one LONG night.

76 here today, one of those days you want to go lay in the grass under a tree and sleep.

plus our sunrises and sunsets have been great with this cool weather.

Been disgustingly beautiful here. Looks like it's going to be that way for a while.

First time this season that the temps may dip into the teens. 23 right now and windy. Julie and I are about to take our weekly dip in the hot tub out back. Should be real fun getting out of that thing tonight. Bottle of Jagermeister should help.

20 degrees and gusty winds last night in the hot tub. It was fun but I think we over did it with the Jagermeister.

Cold, cold, cold. Not Florida weather.
This morning it was 33 a windy. Thank goodness I brought my long johns.
I had to wear a coat and gloves.
Oh well, better days ahead.
