I came up to NJ for a few weeks to enjoy the cooler weather, was wishing for low 80's.
but its hitting 92 and later this week 98 !
I could have stayed in Florida and had 90's all week !

It's been like 95 here for the last week. I have been working outside the whole week. No AC at home either. I love it.

I thought the sun was out longer the further north you go. Closer to the equator the more consistent the suns duration from season to season

Joe,

in the summer your daylight times are close to if not a little longer then South.
but in the winter time your daylight times are much shorter.

I don't know about that Brian. There was a good hour difference in daylight just between Colorado and Oregon. In Oregon it would be light until 10 or 10:15 at night, here it is light until 9 or 9:15. In the winter, it would get dark there around 4:15-4:30 and we generally get dark right at 5:00

We're at the other end of the spectrum up here. This weather guy figure out we've only had 78 minutes of summer so far.

As cranky as Phoenicians are right now, you'd have to try harder.

Our pool is at 94 degrees.

Supposed to cool down from 115 to 109 this weekend.

Where the heck is a comfy year around place to live? That's affordable.
