Great time of year in Southeastern Texas. 70s to low 80s and still not hurricane season. This only lasts another 4-5 weeks, and then it's time to boogie on out of here. Planning on hitting the road about the second week of May and heading north.

Well, we are getting an April Fools Day snowstorm today. 6 to 12 inches of white stuff falling from the sky.

Sorry to hear that, Joe. Today it'll be in the mid 70s while I'm playing golf.

76 is a pretty chilly swim in my book. Ideally, I like mine in the high 80's.

For comparison, though, I just checked ours: 50 degrees. Brrrr. Gonna be awhile (actually we'll open it in early May).

Our pool is still a frozen block of ice. I expect we'll open it in late May, if we're lucky.

Yo, Musky Mike! Just to make you feel a lot better about living up yonder above the arctic circle, I wanna say that I had to turn on my AC for the first time this year to cool the place down when I got home this afternoon.

I know you didn't have that same problem.

Jeffy, you gotta pewt an = sign inna quote box, not a +, eh?

We ran our AC just a little about 3 weeks ago. Then it turned cold again and we built a fire in the fireplace. It's windy as all get out today.

Yo CX and everyone else, I don't need to run any AC. I just open the windows and walla, frost onna walls. Saves on electric. Was up to 47 today. I went swimming inna lake we have inna back yard. Water was 42.
