I've had the winders on my house open for a week now. Until I heard the news of the blizzard y'all are having, I plum forgot y'all still have winter for a spell.

Now Paul, that's just mean. Had dinner on the porch last night. Sat out there with a glass of wine this evening until we decided to head out for Mexican. Front porch temp shows 71 right now but it's probably a couple of degrees higher than actual; won't last though. We'll have at least one more vicious cold snap before it's all over with.

My sister and husband from Wisconsin arrived yesterday morning. We spent a good part of the day sitting around the table on our front patio. They were soaking up the sun and loving it. I think it only got up to 72 yesterday.

I agree, Neesie! I remember one time, quite a few years ago, another Extension Specialist and I were doing Master Gardener training in Greenville, SC on March 24. It started to snow quite hard shortly after lunch. We let those who wanted leave early. I think we had almost 4 inches of wet snow. The peaches were in bloom, too. But it didn't hurt them.

We're getting snow right now, but nothing like your snow Mike. Might be a few inches by the time it ends.

Pretty to look at from where I am.

Spring is just a day on the calandar. Mother Nature doesn't care about dates.

She'll bring spring when she's good and ready.
