it's 78 here today and going to be 81 tomorrow when I'm at the Outback Bowl Game !

we got our first snowof the year yesterday. a whooping 8"
fun in the snow for the kiddos..
me i've been pulling out cars geting stuck in the snow all morning

Its 32 degrees in Vegas, this is two years now of cold winters and short summers....

Jeffy, we got about 10 minutes of snowfall. Fun to see. It was -30 (yes, that's a minus) at the Grand Canyon...a record.
Wiley is running lights to the hose bibs right now to ward off the freeze. It's already in the 20's and will maybe drop into the teens tonight. Monday's forecast of warmer weather can't come fast enough. We build and prepare for this at the cabin, but this area...Not! Home Depot doesn't even stock those insulated hose bib covers here. We have a heat pump and it does not like super cold. We're getting some use out of the electric fireplace heater. 
I've got some pics of the freeze. I'll upload a few later.

Cripes Brian, what would you need heat for in Arizona? Just like Florida, it's hot there alla time.

you need heat, who can be in a house in under 60 degree weather. that's horrible.

It's rarely above 60 in my house unless the sun is blasting in the front window.
