Gonna get down to 40 tonight. A little TOO cold if you ask me. Crazy, it was 95 a week ago.

It is a beautiful day, though. 70 for the high. This is why we live here. We damn sure don't do it for the summers.

Cool weather!?!?!??? It's absurd here. We have freeze warning...in the beginning of November. It's 38 right now. We aren't supposed to see this sort of weather until late January. I put the electric blanket on the bed last night!

Hit 34 here on the northside of Jax this morning. I'll have to find some straw for my puppy dogs soon.

Brian,
Not sure what map your looking at. I did see that the Times Union was listing the weather from Jax NAS which is right on the river in the southern part of the county (43 degrees). Channel 4 had it downtown at 37. The official numbers come from the airport here on the northside. Can't find the numbers from yesterday though what the official is.
Edit: found it....

Still 90 today...supposed to drop into low 80's this week. Higher than normal and followed with serious temp drops at night (in the 50's).

Not enjoying the scorpions in the kitchen. Three in two weeks. More, in total, than we have in a full season. We're thinking it's from the open windows/patio doors in the early evening, with the weird heat and then drop in temp. We stopped with the open doors/windows a couple days ago and will see what happens. Hopefully no more.

I did shut my windows the nite before, but still woke up in the middle of the nite cold. I had to read the instructions on how to get heat from my a/c unit. Still half asleep I managed to get it done.

Yesterday was cold because of the wind. Walking Mikey at dawn was miserable. I'm gonna hafta find myself a jacket with a hood.
I wasn't prepared for the drastic weather change this soon. I was told to leave my winter clothes behind. Big mistake.

This morning it was chilly, about 50, but no wind like yesterday. Still need a warmer jacket.

Still love it here. I"m learning how to adjust.

I know where you're coming from Kathleen, it's even hard to adjust to the seasons when you stay in one place. Especially in the NE.

I'm getting ready to go outside to do some chores as we speak, debatin' whether to pewt on some thermals, or not. 36 degrees outside......but it's supposed to warm up to a balmy 50.
