Nah! Gotta move south.

If Texas won't do, I'll find someplace else. Anywhere it's kinder and warmer than this.
Daily temps in the 50's or 60's will suit me just fine. Don't care much about nitetime temps since I don't venture out much at nite.

I've had it.

Just getting too old for this.

You're not old Kathleen, this sh@% sucks at any age.

It will be a miracle is my gutters don't fall of the house, they're full of ice, and then some.

Pardon my French.

Greg, sounds silly but throw salt/de-icer on your roof and it wil help melt it away.

However, all this shoveling has been extremly painful and fatiguing. I'm not as strong as I used to be, despite working out at the gym. It's just a fact of life.

This is a rare occurance on LI, all this snow, and hopefully I won't experience it again while I live in this house. Eventually I will move into senior housing where they do the shoveling. At the moment I like my backyard so that I can grow my vegetables and plant flowers in the summer.

Brian, I don't think salt is going to help.

At least it's pretty to look at

The woods along my road were beautiful as I was leaving for work the other day.

Very nice pics Greg - if it wasn't for the road sign I'd have sworn they were all black & white

Lordy how I do recall scenes like that from my youth, Greg. Too bad it's such a PITA 'cause it's most surely beautiful.

Some of my most vivid memories are from the snows when it was so cold even the air was askeered to move and the powder snow would pile four or more inches deep on top of an overhead 'lectric line. Still marvel to this day how the world could be that still.

Great pictures, Greg.

I did take pictures, but they are not as magnificant as yours.

There is definitely much beauty in fresh fallen snow and you do capture it.

We've had brilliant weather for the past couple of weeks here in Seattle. This past weekend, my daughter was running around through the giant fountain at the Seattle Center with her shoes and shirt off.
Somebody please tell me how we can have temps at 60*+ yesterday and today there is SNOW falling outside of my window??? It's not the wet stuff either. This is big puffy dry flakes falling gently across the sky in a thick curtain.
This is nutz!

IT'S SPRING IT'S SPRING - maybe

IT'S 61 DEGREES OUT AND SUNNY RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!

sorry for shouting but winters are just too damn long here.

wait a minute - it's still high school hockey tournaments so that means we will always get one more dumping of snow - or maybe not.

been raining the last 3 days - no snow on the ground at all.

feels like I am getting out of jail - not that I know what that really feels like.

man this weather is great!!!
