I shouldn't have said anything, power went out all day and we got 6 inches of rain i think. The generator lasted 3 hours then gave out, old crappy gas i think, bein a generator mechanic in the Army didn't help me much, God was against me.

My wife and I have a quicky trip planned to fly into Orlando and drive to Daytona Beach on Friday. Her god-daughter is getting married on Saturday evening and my wife is to give a speech at the reception. Fly home on Sunday. Hope the storm is gone by Friday. Never been around a tropical storm and don't want to start now.

Brian and Dave hope you guys stay safe. I don't envy you....

I hope you guys come out of this with minimal or no damage. We thought it was gonna ruin our weekend here in NC but last nights forecast showed the storm veering sharply to the west. Now me and the misses can enjoy our 20th anniversary.

there are "Tropical Depressions", "Tropical Storms" and Hurricanes".
each has a wind MPH limit, at 75 mph the storm is a Hurricane.

We are hoping the Lady Fay comes in our direction. Don't need the wind but could surely use the rain.

Lost power for about 6 hours tonight. Luckily CiCi's pizza was open. Front yard has about 1" of water in it. Only 24+ hours to go.
