actually I didn't Marge - still in KC. but if it's warming up and judging by the forecast I'm seein' here I'm thinkin' ol' Mr Sunshine caught the morning flight outa town.

Hi Marge - turn the heat on in Phoenix please. I head to Scottsdale to the in-laws tomorrow and it's too chilly! A bit warmer than northern CA (it's unusually cold at 50 degrees today) but still too cold.

Well, that's what I get for being greedy. After almost 80 in So Cal, we have returned to AZ to well below normal temps. It is 10PM and 31 degrees. It is expected to drop to low 20's in our desert area outside of PHX. Some our our cactus have turned black from the freeze of the last two days.

yeah, I guess the warm weather I sent back from KC last week (it was 60 on Fri, low teens Sat night  ) got lost. musta been on the same plane as the camera I ordered from Amazon. 
If it broke 50 in Tucson today it wasn't by much. Of course, this is pretty much the peak of "winter" for us, and in a couple of weeks (or less) it will be history.

It's okay, Marge. At about 60 degrees in Scottsdale (hottest part of the day!) it was still warmer than we've had in northern CA lately. At least it was clear and sunny, giving us the impression of warm weather from inside!
We went up to Prescott on Sunday; there was a pretty good amount of snow left on the ground. Brrr!
I'm back to work and freezing. Happy New Year everyone!

It was a good day to clean out the truck and goof around with my new grinder, sunny and 45 or so. I'm happy to report that even after putting my new toy through its paces I still have fingerprints on 6 out of 10 fingers.
