Beautiful weather for the shuttle launch! We had a little rain this afternoon that cooled us down to the mid 80s. Here's the view from my backyard.

Bryan, Great picher! We were glued to the TV during the launch and separation of the boosters.

Jim, All of what you said and I had to walk through six feet of snow during the winter in Wisconsin - barefoot at that!

Thanks, Clyde and go Tigers!

The night launches are the best. It's amazing that I'm about 50 miles away from the launch pad and still get that kind of view.

Tired of the heat!

After five days of 100+ temps with humidity (just so the AZ folks don't think we're wimps) we had a brief respite this weekend - 99 on Saturday and 92 yesterday. Looks like more upper 90's and low 100's again this week and no rain in the forecast. Some areas got a little rain Saturday night, but not us.

It was 59 degrees when I woke up this morning. It's 65 now, and we might get to 79 today. Oh, and sunny too.

98* with a feel like temp. of 107*here in Homosassa, Fl. Oh,,, and it rained a couple times too so the humidity just hung in the air. The other Fl crew will attest to this. I could have mixed my grout with sweat......LOL

IT'S TRUE WHAT THEY SAY.
IT'S NOT THE HEAT IT'S THE HUMILITY.
I feel ya rich, I had a 8 hr day in 97 felt 970 (outdoors). I stayed all over my helpers butt to drink, he just don't understand what a heat stroke can do to ya. We had long talk. Them darn northerners just don't get it. As long he don't learn at my expense do as you wish. Dam that was one tough day, work quality goes to hell also, ya just can't see straight.
I remember a song blinded by the light, and then some deutch thing afterwards
I'm setting the wet saw up in the LR for now on

We've reached a new high since we have lived in AZ. The pool was 95 today. Unbelievable. We are still breaking and tying heat records.
