Glad that we could make it happen for you.
You do know that you are obligated to tell everyone that it rained and was cloudy the whole time you were here? That will become your stock answer when asked.

We got a little snow this morning. No accumulation on the street or sidewalk just enough to cover the roof of my van and have it dribble off slowly every time I had to touch the brakes for my first hour or so on the road. My windshield wiper control sure got a workout.

Ya know Jerry, I forgot to mention a couple things....

The sound was like glass when we crossed both ways. And Dang, could hardly see from the glare of the sun on the water. Oh, and the Bald Eagles.....ooooooooo.....just feet away flying by our friend's deck. The seals were quite playful too.

And Pike Street....Dave had to dodge some flying fish, eat some fresh chowder and park the car within a block.

But it sucked, totally..honest...

Winter has finally come to SOWEGA. 24 tonight, 23 Friday night. OF course, it gets into the 60s during the day. Only place in the world where you run your heat in the morning and your AC on the way home.

Neesie, thanks for sending it this way. We had a high of 56 today, it's 44 now and dropping at 3.83 degrees an hour. Predicting a low of 22 tonight, high of 42 tomorrow and 20 tomorrow night. But, by next week it supposed to be back in the range of 59/42. I think I'll get a good fire going in the fireplace and cosy up to it.

SOWEGA isn't the only place, Neesie. (Got the spelling right on the first try ) Often in the thirties here in the AM and the seventies in the PM.

We often confuse the heck out of our heat pump.

Freezing our buns off on the first tee, and sweating like a dog by the 18th hole. ( not that we have had much time for golf lately)

It's been up and down between 7 and 23 degrees. But with the wicked wind we've been having, it's plenty cold.

Speaking of wind, anyone ever carry 1/2 a sheet of drywall along side a high-rise building when the wind comes pounding down at you? Holy shark-bait, Batman!!! I thought I was gonna fly like Superman.

Due to the most recent Canadian-Yankee conspiracy, our overnight temps have been hitting down around 30. High today is supposed to be 50. Hoosiers have joined the conspiracy because there is a strong prevailing wind out of Indiana.

Well I've got to gloat here now after we had a week of minus 29 a couple of weeks ago. Today will be warmer here in Calgary than it is for all you southern folk.

18F here this AM. Now up to 23. Mikey's mad because we won't leave the door to the screened porch open. We offered to do it if he will buy us fur coats like his.
