Great day in Seattle, blue sky and temp. in the mid 70's
Last night we went to the beach. Lots of people to celebrate Soltice and enjoy beach fires, drum circles, beer etc. It was also the last day to school here in Seattle and there was hundreds of drunk kids there and it go out of hand and the cops closed down the park just after it started getting dark at 10:00.

When it rains, it pours!
One extreme to another. Bone dry up until the weekend and then RAIN. Almost 2 inches of rain on Friday and 4.7 inches so far today. I'm glad we are well above any creeks or rivers. Looks like more rain on the way.

Rained a little bit the past two days. (Fantastic thunder storms Sunday night.) Could use more rain. At least it broke the high heat. We should only get into the low 90s today.

Yup,
Haven't seen a cloud in the sky for a week. Monday was mid-90's. Tuesday was mid-80's. Today will be high-70's continuing downward. Then the weekend will be warm again.
Rain, rain, rain, rain and a chance of drizzel followed by rain. Yup, this Pacific Northwest is sure damnably depressing. All this foul weather sure is a good reason for nobody else to move up here. Yup, Rain, rain, rain. Isn't that right, Jerry and Trask?

Short rains again last night. Take all we can get. We are 9" below norm for the year. Not good in swamp lands.

Still a-comin'
Rain, rain, and did I say, rain?
Last week, everything was dry and dead. No rain for weeks.
Today is the fourth straight day in a row for rain or severe thunderstorms and we're saturated. I'm trying to take care of my neighbor's pool (while he's at the beach) and I had to empty 4" of water last night to try to keep it from overflowing and flooding.
It's already raised another 2" today.
Forecast is for more intermittent severe weather over the next few days.
