We've been reading about all that NE flooding. What a mess! Our continent can't seem to spread it all out evenly.

Had 105 already here.

Clear and cool here in SOuthWEst GeorgiA. Very unseasonal. Some crop damage from hail this past weekend during severe storms.

Ah, so it's Neesie.

Where in Southwest Georgia, Denise? I spent three years at Ft. Benning back in the day and traveled up and down the Chatahoochie.

(Bet I didn't remember how to spell it, though. )

Forgot to report our local weather. It's beautiful -- cool at night, warm in the afternoons. Hope it holds another month or so. It won't.

11:00 AM, 91 degrees and climbing, 51% R.H.

Installed three more storm windows and finished painting the last three windows. Time for a COLD adult beverage

111 on the road trip from Palm Springs to PHX today.

But Shaka got her new "chariot" for the cabin!

Storm windows and hurricane season....sheesh, we do have a lot of climates in this country. And a new wildfire out here...not near Da Bears, but looking to be a nasty one.

Three days over 110, it's currently 6AM, raining and over 90. Had a mega dust storm last night...over one mile high and a few miles wide. Unbelieveable. We've never seen one that big.

Heading North this afternoon...thank goodness.

It's been raining here off and on for a week here now. Temps low 70s.

I saw a picture of that storm on CNN. Reminds me of a photo Jeremy from Q8 posted of a desert storm.

Hot

Just checked and it's 101 in the shade, 30% humidity, and no rain for days. Grass quit growing, but I'll have to trim the weeds.
