JB, we'll be in Portland 18-20th if our LPGA friend makes the cut. If she doesn't, we might just be able to head that way. Our plan is for the Everett area (Hat Island).

On a clear day you can see Hat Island from Mukilteo. Remember it well. It was pretty much uninhabited when I was a kid.
We'll play it by ear. You will not want to miss the famous whatever in Jerry's back yard, though.

Now it's pouring here. Forecast is rain for the weekend.
Seems like it's raining all over the world.

What's the deal, Marge? You won't let Dave up to the cabin until he finishes his honey-dos in the Valley?

Try telling that to the peoples of southern Nuevo Mexico, Jim. They ain't got no water. I just drove back to the Ruidoso area and they already have the signs up hereabouts saying the whole Forest is closed due to fire danger. One of the earliest times I've ever seen'em do that.
However, they got a little moisture. Here's a spot just north of Luna, NM, inna mountains just below 8000 feet. April 28, 2006. Three-plus inches of whatever the hell that wet white stuff is. Fortunately it didn't start until about an hour after I got that motorhome wedged in there.

Been raining here pretty steady for the last 4 days. the pool has nearly overflowed a couple of times, I keep having to drain water from it. Still managed to do a Mother's Day cookout today...under an umbrella.
Schools are closed tomorrow due to the many flooded roads. I'll still manage to get to work, I think.
