Hey Jeremy, you can still come back over anytime.
I was a scoutmaster in Phoenix for three years. We were a back-packing troop and often ran into snakes. Taught the boys to walk around them and keep on trucking. Often at night I would wonder what kept the things from trying to double bunk with us, as we slept out in the open on the ground. Finally convinced myself they didn't like us any better than we liked them. And the fact is I've never really had a problem. You see the snake or hear it, just avoid it. Don't get curious.
There are diamond backs in these parts, and of course throughout the South there are water moccasins. Watch out for those guys. They will actually come after you if you get too close -- the moccasins, I mean.
Much more dangerous than the rattler is the Coral Snake. If he gets a chance to nibble on you you're a gonner.

and now back to the weather . . .
I can report that the weather in Orlando and in Houston right now is fantastic. Around 80 and breezy, which makes for a great combination. Not sticky at all. Nights about 70.

Looks like I made the right move in '78 leaving Wisconsin and settling in South Carolina.

April 28th we got us three-plus inches of snow on my hovel parked rachere maybe six miles north of downtown Luna, New Mexico. Perty it was.
But it all went bye-bye the very next day and it's barely got down to freezin' any night since. And inna daytime it's way up inna seventies, maybe eighty, even. Is nice.

Mid 70's here in the Northwest today. We are getting ready for JB and Patti. Don't want it to cold for them.
Going to be out in the yard getting it pretty all weekend. Friends are going to be getting married back there this summer and we will have to be hosting the 2nd annual Northwest JB Forum Friends BBQ. Mike when are you heading north to go fishing?
Eveyone have a nice weekend.

Supposed to hit 100 today, first of the year. Our two weeks of Spring are over.
Jerry keep that NW weather nice as we'll be up that way in August.

We'll hold up the 2nd Annual Whaterver for ya.
The 20th is a Sunday. Sure you can't be there Saturday? I know the following weekend Patti's gonna be on me to head south.
