And it's been sooooo nice!

Well WTF, 32 and snowing this morning. It would be soooooooo pleasant if we could go just one lousy, stinkin, crappy WI spring where the temparture gradually warms with each passing day. We alway get this crap of "one more fling for winter" crap. Gotta go back and hide in my cave.

Just crappy. But on a much brighter note, I'll be basking in the sun for Coverings....oh yeah! And I'm sure I'll see more sun down there in one day than I do in 3 months of WI weather. Cripes, I'll probably burn to a crisp just walkin from the Hotel to the convention.

Kurt, would you terribly mind keeping the white stuff on your side of the lake?

Heck you'll probably get burnt through the window during the car ride

Yeah it is!! I was supposed to have fished 3 tournaments at this point. One on Arrowhead got postponed due to a broken dam and low water-- sandbar at the lake's midpoint was high and dry-- no way to get to the upper (and better) part of the lake. Second one on Long Lake (right around the corner) got cancelled due to Federation politics (long story), and the third, weekend before last, I wasn't about to go out on Mousam Lake just above Sanford with gale force winds. I can handle the rain, but I'm not about to spend the day on the trolling motor fighting 35- 40 mile an hour winds. Instead I worked. Now, I'm just waiting for the closed season to get over so I can hit the damn lake!!

BTW, Pete-- we've got another guy from this area in here now-- if you see a guy named tilerik, say hey!!

115 degrees ina shade. Another week should see the skeeters and flies all burned off and then a decent summer will be had by all.

Same here-- we went from 40's and 50's last week straight into 70's and 80's this week. Just like in life, I missed the 60's!!

Yeah but Bill you know that after the 80's the 90's are gonna make the 60's look like the 50's.

I finally found the sixties-- I was down at my sister's house in Southern Connecticut yesterday and today putting in a family room floor. When I left at noon today, it was in the low 90's. By the time I got to the Mass- New Hampshire line, it was in the low 80's, and by the time I got home, it was mid sixties!! I started the trip with the a/c, and was one step away from the heater by the time I got home, FOUR HOURS LATER!!

Been raining here for a week now. Almost 200mm of rain since the middle of last week. Some of the rivers are at about 10 times their normal volume. I'm starting to think its time to get a boat. The lawn has turned into a duck pond in some places, complete with ducks.
Two nights ago a cow moose and her newborn calf even came to visit the pond in the back lawn.
