Naw, learned all that reading the owner's manual of my Mini-Minor when I was in Europe years ago. Took me a while to figure out what a "spanner" was. At first thought is was a part of the car that stretched from the boot to the bonnet. Later found it it's a wrench.
Snow finally melted off yesterday. Froze one last time last night. Weatherman now says we're headed back toward 70 by tomorrow. Should be spring in a week or two.

Hell, Flatfloor, they done had nearly three times that much in Victoria, Texas yesterday or day before. That's, like, even further south than Houston.
So quit whinin'.

Your right Bill. It's happening.
CX, I heard about Victoria. The last time it snowed there was 1918 a 1/10".

Iceberg
Somewhat weather related - ever see an entire iceberg from top to bottom?
This came from a Rig Manager for Global Marine Drilling in St. Johns, Newfoundland. They actually have to divert the path of these things away from the rig by towing them with ships! In this particular case the water was calm, & the sun was almost directly overhead so that the diver was able to get into the water and click this pic. Clear water huh?! They estimated the weight at 300,000,000 tons.

Very good friend here grew up in Victoria. They were in Virginia visiting rellies when the big snow came. All they got in Yankee Land was cold.
I bet they woulda drove theyselfs down there to make a snowperson if they hadn't been so far afield. Not a flake here in the Hill Country.

I heard that. I'll take a foot of snow over 1/8" of ice any day of the week. But my buddy Todd-- he's always the generous type, never wanting to keep anything to himself, so he sent this damn ice OUR way-- supposed to be here in the morning!!

If it makes you feel any better, once the freezing rain is through it will turn to snow and you'll get 2" to cover it up and really muck things up.
