Washed my truck today to get the salt off!
56 on Sunday. If I wash my truck again Sunday night, it's supposed to rain on Monday.

Sad but true Mike, I fell off long since.

Well, all I can add to this is "thank goodness." For what, you might ask. I am thankful that this episode was not like last year. No ice to speak of this year.
In some areas of NC this snow "event" was the biggest ever recorded. In my area, it was the second biggest. Snow depths varied but it was not uncommon to find 16 to 20 inches in some areas. It started last Thursday and continued unabated into Saturday morning. We had about 12 inches when it was all over. Of course, the now warm temperatures have turned the snow fields into mud holes.....
Overall, it could have been a lot worse...

We got up to 57 today! However, had one of those weird phenomena's occur on the way home. Was supposed to be heavy thunderstorms this afternoon, but ran into this situation: Calling it Thunder Ice Storm (It wasn't snow).

Stunning day out here in the Pacific Northwest.
Chilly...but clear and beautiful. The cherry blossoms are blooming, the air was clear.
Went for a couple bike rides.
Anyone ever hear of frisbee golf? There's a golf course out here where people pack around frisbees and follow a course. I biked through hoards of people lugging around a dozen or so frisbees. Then they'd "T" up and discuss their strategy with their fellow "Frisbee Golfing" buddies.
Never seen that before! Learn new things all the time!
Anypoo.... It's been wonderful seeing the sun and blue skies.

Same old stuff around here. Mid-seventies.
Linda,
With advances in digital photography you could have a poster made of a sunny day and hang it over your picture window in te front room. Maybe shine a spot light on it.

True is that John. Woke up this AM to clouds and blustery wind.
Grey...Gray...or ugh...however you'd like to spell it.
I'm gonna take your advice and snap a picture!
