Karen, you set him up rather nicely. That Yakima Rack system is fantastic. The 32lb thrust trolling motor should do a real nice job for you even on windy days.
You could always just use your cell phones
Trout...mmmmmmmmmmm good stuff.
Bake em and stuff em.Try shreded wheat for a base for your stuffing.makes a great fish stufing

Good choice for fishing, Karen. Hope you catch a bunch!! I might add, in the interest of good sportmanship and management practices, put back everything you don't need.
I use the Yakima system exclusively for my canoes and my bikes. I don't believe there is a better system available anywhere.

Made it up to 37 today. Ice and snow starting to melt, finally. College is open and we even have some brave students who have decided to come back to school. Tomorrow should be another good day!
Another storm due in on Monday.

sleet and snow made it to Blanco this morning at about 6:30! It's all the way up to 29 at noon, and we are predicted to have bad winter weather (OK so bad for Blanco means it might down to 19 and we might have an inch of mixed slet and snow) tomorrow. So much for going out for valentine's day! I may have to see if I can find a tile guy to keep me warm!

The Texas Hill Country is just about everywhere except where I'm at.
('Course we do have Mt. Houston.)
Cold front even made it down here. Didn't even get up to 50 today. But it's on its way out. 'Sposed to be back up to 60 by Monday.

Plenty ice outside this morning. Cold. Drizzle all day, sometimes freezing, sometimes not. High about 34. Forecast in the twenties tonight with snow or sleet beginning about midnight. Below freezing now and still drizzling.
I don't mind the cold, but I can do without the freezing rain. Can't work outside, too wet. Makes mud. Cold mud. Can't work inside without tracking in mud. Don't like it.
Worst part is peoples alla time make fun of you when it's cold on accounta you wear shorts. Peoples ain't got no manners. Don't like them, neither.
I don't make fun of them when they wear long pants inna middle of summer, eh? Peoples aughta have good manners. Even when it's cold.

Looks like about 3 inches, enough to keep me home. Go ahead, call me a whimp Todd. That's what I like about Texas, it'll be gone tomorrow. As for today, I'm busting some heads with snowballs.
