To an extent. There was a guy on here a few years back that showed some pics of a bathroom he did, and left 2"ish slivers at the door and had full tiles at the back wall. This wasn't a chopped up bathroom, and there is no excuse for that.

I know I am good at what I do, but if I post pics on here and you guys find something you see odd let me know. Chances are there was/is a reason for it, if not and I could have done it better I would want to know.

Used some 20X20 Ragno Western Stone porcelain a few years ago and loved it. No doming at all, uniform and dead square, and yeah, you better have a good saw blade. Best of all, it was like $3.25 a square foot.

here was the 24x24 Ragno Timur "Samarcanda"

it was a pretty perfect tile and the TLS made the job great.

not marketed as a DIY thing, but it would help them.
There's no need for you to get hollow spots if you learn the correct way to use it.

Since Mick checked in I thought I'd throw more TLS pics on here

Back to Bethlehem, more large format from Ragno.

We have been keeping excessively clean and changing the wash water for thinset frequently, thanks for looking out.

I think these tiles are $7 or $8 a foot, worth every cent. The mud walls really shine here, great coverage, and FLAT!
