No angle grinder, it was set up, but never plugged in.
9am- pull in driveway
set up saw at mudroom door. floor protection, clear countertops, cover countertops.
strip sheets.
layout
fabricate BN from 3" x 12"
remove electrical covers and outlets
install
clean up saw and mortar pail.
no lunch
--------------
6pm- leave
Next day- 11am arrive
clean up tools
pull spacers
grout
lunch
clean up
replace elec outlets with longer screws I buy by the box of 100
caulk
4pm leave
14 hours

Gueuze, someone here is gona say that coulda done that all by lunch time.
Me, I only play a tile setter on TV.
Backsplash looks great. Did you leave the spacers in?

Guezy if you don't want to get shocked all you need is gloves. Or just chance it ....
Jason in his list he says he pulled the spacers I was wondring that too.

Gueuze,
try installing the outlet with the cover before grouting. Saves getting all tingly inside.

Nah, Gueuze wait till your finished to put the covers on, if they are fancy you'll get grout on em.

I don't put the covers on till I'm done, but I do screw the outlet back in the wall so's my sponge doesn't hit the side where them hot wires are located.
Also I used to buy boxes of those longer screws till I saw a sparky working on one on a New house....using drywall screws. yep, they work just fine.
