hey now - my MOM is that customer, lol. That window was existing (in a tub/shower combo) but she wanted it left there. It is a vinyl replacement sash, and I Kerdi'd right up to the vinyl and attached it with Kerdi-fix. I milled the jamb extensions out of Veranda vinyl boards, and kerdi fixed and siliconed those to the window and to the marble trim. It actually probably wont see much water all the way over there anyway - this franken tub/shower is an odd layout.
A old pic of the Kerdi to the window:
These mitered returns were a ton of fun...
Thanks for the comments!
As for the worktunes - the reviews I read were not so great as I recall. Besides - I'm just a DIYer and my crappy Husky wet saw is so loud I doubt I could hear the music over it anyway, lol

Kyle,
that is a damn fine install !!!
U sure your a DIY'er?
What did you make that niche shelf out of ?
This is just my opinion but I would have put the shelf on the lower side on the niche - have more room up top for the Costco size bottles with the arch.
That coffered ceiling really adds to the install - looks great!

thanks!
the niche lower copartment is still almost 12" tall so there is plenty of room for Costco shampoo bottles. the top shelf can be for smaller stuff. Tim - I fabbed the shelf from a scrap of crema marfil or nova threshold/saddle. I just bullnosed and honed the whole piece with sandpaper.

we dont normally do mosaics, but here's a small one.
the frame is 3" thick Roman Travertine. the tapers are ground in by hand. Mosaic and all frmaing is mechanically attached to the wall, with a steel bracked holding the mosaic to the studs.
