Rick, Yes I think most are. I believe 3 of`m are real stone. They have matching seats pcs exactly the same shape but about an inch & half thick & 16x16 on the 90 then rounded as the shelves, tho never used`m cause they aint got not dead load rating for seats.

Still the biggest bottle of shampoo money can buy can't weigh more than 4 or 5 pounds.

I did break one a few weeks back though. Single piece of travertine, it was an add on that the customer wanted after I was done. The next day I went back to second wash and was bent over in the shower and when I stood up I came directly up into it in the middle of my back (forgot it was there) It cracked in half and left me with a backache too.

A lot of times On the thicker shelves guys I don't install them till after I'm done and then stick them in with pennies and epoxy.

Im not a fan of premade shelves..They can have a hundred colors but they will still never match real stone.

I really need to get more digital pics of my work but on that slate shower pic above me thinks a nice irregular shaped piece of flagstone via the local landscape place would look really nice

Jim , Funny you mentioned the flag stone cause I was set up in his barn & he had stacks of flag stone & I mentioned using a pc but he was very particular in everything that was done I was surprised he didnt go for my suggestion ?? He is an enginers enginer!!! & it was a porcelain slate look alike. & went for the ones I used??
Bill I get those @ New Hampshire Tile In Manchester ,they also carry them @ there main store in Pembroke.
