Very nice Steve and Doug! Jason I really like those herringbone backsplashes.
Here's a master shower I just finished up. Full Kerdi shower in Fort Collins with a glass / travertine insert for the row and back of the niches. Tile is porcelain (hard-ass porcelain, too )

2 pieces of bullnose sandwiched to make the shelf? Interesting...I like the look.

Yup, you need to beef it up enough to hold up your rubber ducky!

I like how you interlocked back and forth the glass tile returning into the niche

I've allways been a fan of the herringbone pattern too, although we don't get to install it often enough. Very nice lookin' shower Roger, I like the layout of your niche, hitting grout joints top an bottom, trim on the inside.

Thanks guys.
They decided to turn the glass in the niches just to break it up a bit I believe.
The interlocking glass corners on the niche return allows factory edges all the way through - only way to do it with glass mosaic IMO.
Its all in the little details.

Roger very nice. They only thing that would of really set it off is a piece of granite for the curb instead of those bullnose.

Real nice work everyone!
here's the finished entry - spectralock is a godsend! makes my job easy
good news - the owner liked the entry so much he wants me to do the master bathroom - floor & drop in tub surround/shower
nice builder - you can see how far off they set the stairs and the door wall.

interlocking pieces
Roger and Tim nice work to you both. Roger I like the glass being turned
in the niches, nice look! You say interlocking pieces, I know what you are saying but didn't know they made such a thing. Can we get a closeup shot of those pieces to see just exactly what you mean, thanks!

its just how he installed the regular pieces. he started from the corner back and forth on the pieces giving it an interlocking look.
