Was able to get final photos of the Tampa Palms, Florida curbless shower master
bathroom remodel we did a few months ago. Turned a regular shower with a
garden tub into a curbless shower with a Laticrete linear drain.

Wall tile was a 12x24 Venis "Irish Blanco",
Shower floor was an American Olean 2x2 "Ice White" unglazed mosaic
and the main bathroom floor is a Trend Q 24x24 terrazzo/quartz tile.

excuse the dirty footprints on the shower floor. The window cleaners came
in and made a mess and didnt notice to clean it. homeowener was furious.

How does the water on the other side of the bump get to the drain? I was always taught to place wall tile on top of the floor tile. That way you don't have this grout joint that catches water.

Dave,

On the speed hump showers I did a curtain was always used just inside the hump. Water that drips outside the curtain can be wiped up. All the hump showers I did were for handicapped folks.

I like the idea of no grout joints on top of the bump, in this case a curtain placed on the shower side of the bump shall do. As far as stray water on the wrong side, I guess it gets the same treatment as water that drips outta the shower when you dry off, evaporation and a mat

I did those too John. They were at the walk in part of the shower. Maybe the pic above is deceiving but it looks like the "speed bump" is in the middle of the shower, not at the entrance.

You can see the jamb on the right side. I would want the highest point of the bump at the center of the jamb in case a door is ever added.

The wall/floor joint can go either way.

The grooved tiles are roughly 13x40. Quartz hearth and around the firebox with a bullnosed edge all the way around.
