Sometimes a "random" installation becomes a systematic installation. Humans are to controlling.

Gotta ask, how slow is too slow. How long you been at this job, how much tIle is to be installed, how much left to be installed, and lastly, how much longer do you anticipate being there to complete the job?

Think the lady wanted to move in yesterday,as she seems to be pushy as far as moving in. Feels like I've been there forever, started laying tile on Friday, have around 300 ft set, give or take. 500 ish left to set.

Took today off to deal with other things, and tomorrow the stoners are taking over the house to install slabs. Hope to be completed setting, grouting etc by early next week.

So much for receiving a tip on this job

In the first picture there are 3 light color tiles right next to each other. I could see how that may not be desirable. I think change a couple tiles to make her happy. Your install looks great! Also have her pick the tiles like others have pointed out. Pain in the ass for sure dealing with tiles like this.
Marble is the worst when it comes to color variations. We have had to remove a few select pieces of 24 x 24 marble that the customer said had marks in it that they didn't like. I usually tell the customer that a good portion of your floor is going to be covered by furniture.

Great job James! Like the look of the fulls/big cuts at the lid.

I'll let the cat out of the bag.....house I'm currently working on is mine. Lady/wife loves everything, and loves the complementary color of the stone with the tile.

If I had to guess, there's at least 40+ different tile variation differences within each piece. Lighter/darker colors connecting, are actually different from one another.

Thought about separating all the various colors, prior to install....but time consuming and space consuming lol.....pulling out of three boxes as I go,and blending as I go.

I'll post some pics of tops,on other puter.

Thanks all. Yap, fulls up top. Measure twelve times then just hope for the best. I get to play drywall guy too so I have the liberty to "correct" the ceiling if needed [emoji1]. Yes, It is hard to explain to people how much intentionality is needed to execute a random pattern.
