Greg, when you leave the knee wall undone and you look at the shower it looks like the unfinished wall dominates the whole shower area and detracts from the beauty of the tile, whereas when it is tiled the whole thing just seems to fit, at least that's the way i see it.

Sal- I totally agree with you. My wife does not. She likes and thinks it looks great. I try to stand between me and the shower so I do not see it in the mirror.
Finished my big shower today. Yippee!!! This goes with the small 600 sf bathroom project. Has a his side/her side and entrances from each into the shower. Shower was close to 300 sf on the walls and ceiling. Talk about cuts, only 12 pieces (30 sf) came out of the box and went onto the wall with no cuts. Homeowner loves it, builder loves and architect likes it and dropped of plans for another project he would like a bid on. First is from his side and second is from her side. Picks were taken just before grouting.

Is it weird bench week?
The job I am on the contractor had that bench we have been using it. I like it so much it was on sale at depot for 40 bucks so I got one. Its great you can stand on it and put your thinset on it when doing ceiling work. Weird bench week...
