Hey JD,
That's a beautiful pool. This is my first time doing extensive work in a pool. I cobbled together a covering with an Easy Up, a tarp, plastic, and PVC pipe. The client has umbrella holes around the pool I used to support the poles and the concrete guy nailed down 2x10's on the bean as a form for the deck and I used it to nail to as well, but that only covers half the pool. We are getting a 20'x30' when I'm ready to move out of the shallow end. If this goes well and their is promise of more work, I may look at investing in a large tent. I'm enjoying the work.

It'll be nice to move inside and get back to a little tile work for a change though. That heavy coping is getting ridiculous! Makin me feel old

JD .....love that pool or giant spa not sure which it is with all that seating. House behind it looks nice too! I rarely ever get to work outside doing tile but then come winter I am not complaining when I am inside staying warm.

Currently in Palmyra PA, ripped out tile planks from 2 bathrooms they had this done about 3 months ago. They went over the linoleum with no back buttering on the tiles. Problem was all the lippage and at the doorways they just left the tile exposed didn't make any kind of transition whatsoever. Just very poor work and homeowner wanted it right. Took it all out, pulled up the linoleum and luan. Ditra down, started tile today. Crossville Buenos Aires Mood Polo Polished 6" on floor. Haven't used a 6" tile on a floor in a long time.

Over the past year I have been using a lot of Crossville Tile, not sure if visiting the plant this past year has anything to do with it

Doing a little 200 ft entry. Putting hand made radius ends on the border. Thought you all would like these pics. Used a lattice strip as my compass. Drilled a hole in one end. Used a 3" concrete nail to anchor it. Marked, cut and drilled where I needed lines to be drawn.

Not sure about that message, but years ago we were setting some TN. tile and on the back of one of them it said F#% Y&* Jesse on it....not sure if it was a message for someone further down the line or maybe whoever wrote it thought I was gonna be Jesse. Either way this person had a disdain for Jesse.

Ray, Lambda has sooooo many meanings in so many disciplines that I think you could guess it means absolutely anything at all and probably be either right or wrong.

A project we just finished in Kaanapali for a client from Montreal.

The bathrooms are some very nice 12" x24" Panaria porcelain that looks like honed limestone. The accent row is glass tile from Bellavitta. The client selected a simple made in the USA AO 18" porcelain for the floors because they liked the non slip texture. All porcelain is set with 4XLT and grouted with Permacolor except the shower floor is Spectralock. Glass accent set with Laticrete GTA.

The following pictures are two bathrooms, a fireplace remodel and a kitchen remodel in Memphis, TN.

First is bathroom number one. New mud bed, Schluter Ditra Heat mat, Warm Wire heating cable(s), Emser Pietre del Nord Polished porcelain 12x24's on the wall and Pietre del Nord Matte porcelain 24x24's on the floor. Grouted with TEC Pearl grout. A perfect match.
