Mock up panel for glass mosaic mural at a local intermediate school. Sitting on top of my washing machine in the carport.
The drawing of the artist's concept, will be 30' x 10"
10 year old Stabila vs new one that I got with the JB free shipping promotion from Contractors Direct. Too much 254 over the years.
And what happens when you ask the plumber on a commercial kitchen job to set the drain level.

It was this comment that made me remember the same conversation somewhere in the past. It's a great topic and deserves its own thread. Didn't seem, a full blown off topic conversation in the middle of the most popular thread on the forum fit well. My suggestion was meant well( make a thread) kinda like go get a room lol. Oh and I have no smileys on tapatalk so =) typing them OG will have to do. Sorry you got offended chad. Don't read what I write and forget the smileys bub. You know me

Jack is wasn't that I got offended I was interested in the topic and was enjoying taking to the others about it. I just didn't like when CX let it go and then a couple members decided it wasn't the right place for it. That's why I said if they wanted it moved they would have done it or said it at least that's what's been done in the past. No worries man

I'm not from the good ole days but I've always used to indicate I was kidding. I thought when you wanted to say something bordering on rude and didn't want the other person to take offense that you used
[Better post pictures, don't want this thread moved to the mud box ]
I admit to being shy about posting photos as I still offer liner showers as an installation option to my customers and I know those are frowned on over in these parts. But TCNA method B415 is the base model over here at Tiger Mountain Tile Inc.
1. Water Damage
2. Liner
3. Cbu shower
4. In progress
5. general prep

There were more meetings on these niches than you would ever guess but they are exactly how the customer wanted them.

I think they used Linen on the walls and Chateau on the floor. It's hard to tell from the photos but the floor tile is a different color than the walls.

OK Marty,
You had the cool Onyx Surround, I give you the Gaudy one. Customer had bought two sets of these on E-Bay out of Europe. Came in 14 crates with a picture only. They were reclaimed pieces. Talk about a very expensive jigsaw puzzel.
Having fun today doing takeoffs of plans only to find out that every stone the Architect has specified is no longer available. Dont they ever update their samples.

Here's my most recent bathroom: a master bath remodel in Kenmore Washington with a surface applied waterproof membrane. A complete Noble Company waterproofing system was used including Noble TS, Wall Seal, and a Noble niche.
1. Shower prep with divot
2. Noble waterproofing installed
3. Flood test
4. Heated tile floor over RPM pads
5. large format tile floor in progress

There's a few loose ends so I've pulled off this project for now until some things get taken care of.
1. tile installation in progress
2. Dal Fabrique blanc linen 12x24
3. Mostly complete
4. shower floor with ebbe drain
5. Pental Durstone Vulcano Grafito 12x24
All grout is Custom Fusion (don't call it urethane ) grout

Very ornate. Is it hollowed out or solid? The hollow ones like the onyx are a snap to install: lag a couple 2x4s on the wall, slap some setting epoxy on it, and head for the watering hole

Man, you do impressive work Jim. I won't bat an eye at putting in a pan liner. Been installing them from the start.
